Andrew "Pottsie" David Pott

Andrew David Pott “Pottsie”, age 35, of Burke, Vermont passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on April 9, 2026.

He was born on December 3, 1990, in St. Johnsbury, Vermont to Terri Maloney and Aaron Pott. Andrew graduated from Lyndon Institute in 2009 before getting his CDL and starting his career as a truck driver with Northern Gas Transport. After learning the ropes and getting many miles in the seat, he decided to make a change and started working at FedEx Freight just over 10 years ago.

Andrew was one of the most loving and caring people to everyone that was lucky enough to have known him. His love for family and friends was indisputable, and his laugh and smile would light up the room! Andrew’s greatest joys were fishing, hunting and helping others. Whether out in nature or riding to the next adventure, he was always with friends, smiling and planning the next big thing. He wholeheartedly enjoyed making lasting memories with his family and closest friends. His kindness, sincerity, hard work and his willingness to be there for everyone, while never asking for anything in return, will remain in all of the hearts he touched. He was loved by many, and his loss will leave a large hole in many hearts.

Andrew's excitement and joy for being Uncle Andrew and Uncle Pott to many of his family and friends' children was a huge part of his life! His plans for teaching them to fish and hunt were endless! Some of the kids were already familiar with the "secret spots" and were able to enjoy the adventures with him!

Andrew is survived by his Mother Terri Maloney Grant and Step Father Ryan Grant; his Father and Stepmother Aaron and Stacy Pott; his brother Justin Maloney and nephews Wyatt and Austin; his sister Melynda Maloney and nephew Emmett and niece Oaklynn; his sister Marissa Grant and nephew Grayson; Step Brother Deven Degreenia and nieces Devie and Dehlia; his Grandmother Esther Pott; his Grandmother Lynda Maloney; his Partner Sky Leonard; and many aunts and uncles, and cousins. He is predeceased by his Grandfather Gerald Maloney; his Grandfather David Pott; and Aunt Jody Prescott

A celebration of life will be held at a later date for all who would like to attend.
