Bodon 'Bubba' Stephen Cota

March 23, 2022 — January 13, 2024

On January 13th, 2024, Bodon “Bubba” Stephen Cota left earth peacefully in his sleep on his beloved Cars bed.

Bodon came into this world on March 23rd, 2022. Upon opening his bright blue eyes, you were immediately struck by the beauty and intelligence that radiated from them. Bodon was not a child who lived life in the slow lane, he constantly took his parents breath away with the stunts he and his co-pilot, “Sissy” Brynlee pulled. Bodon had the ability to light up the room when he entered, whether it was via his contagious laughter, his heart-warming smile, or just his all-around jokester mentality. Bodon was a lover of his animals, friends and family over at Stay and Play Daycare where he spent a large portion of his time. I could write an entire edition of the Caledonian record reminiscing on all the joy and happiness Bodon brought to everyone around him. All who knew him will forever have a hole in their heart from this loss. From his family, Bodon “Bubba” Stephen Cota, we will love you forever while we still breathe on this earth and can’t wait to transfer that same love to you when we see you on the other side.

He leaves behind his parents and sister: Taylor, Chelsey, and Brynlee of Wheelock; his paternal grandmother: Sheryl Cota (Bob Cairnes) of Lyndonville, VT; and paternal great-grandmother: Connie Beattie of Lyndonville; his maternal grandparents: Kenneth and Kelly Davis of Wheelock; and maternal great-grandmother: Jean Davis of Meriden, CT; aunts and uncles: Garrett Cota, Krystal Brown (Buddy), Kerri LeBlanc, and Cortney Garcia (Christian); great aunts and uncles: Neal and Shari Austin, Ben Austin, and Jenny and Jamie Ryan; his bonus grandparents: Dennis and Diane LaBounty; and many cousins and friends, especially all his friends at Stay & Play Daycare.

Bodon was predeceased by his paternal grandfather: Donald Cota.

Services will be at the convenience of the family.

Kindly consider a donation in Bodon’s name to Stay & Play Daycare, 214 Charles St, Lyndonville, VT 0585.
