Sheffield, VT: Brittany Lynn Danforth passed away unexpectedly on August 5, 2026, in Barton, Vt.
She was born in St. Johnsbury, VT, on May 27, 1992, to Margaret Drew and Ed Danforth. Brittany had a personality all her own and a heart as big as her personality, was honest to a fault, and never one to shy away from saying exactly what was on her mind. Those who knew and loved her could always count on her colorful vocabulary, and a laugh or two along the way.
She grew up in St. Johnsbury, Vermont, where she attended St. Johnsbury Academy, graduating in 2010. During her school years, she built a wonderful group of friends, shared countless memories, laughter, and adventures that will be cherished forever. She leaves behind a lifetime of memories and friendships that will continue to keep her spirit alive in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her beloved sons, Reice Farnham and Zane Colby; Ryan Farnham who was her lifelong friend, partner and co-parent, Tim Colby, father to Zane, Brittany’s younger brother, with whom she shared an exceptionally close bond: Curtis Masure (Bethany) of LA and her nephew; James; grandmother and guardian to Riece: Danielle Jones (Noi) of Eden, VT, her aunt and guardian to Zane: Tammy Jacoby (Richard) of Lyndon Center Uncle & Aunt: Phillip “Rusty Masure, Jr. (Viola “Dubby” Champney, cousins: Jackie Rock, Corey Masure, Rustin Phillips Masure, Jessie Masure all of St. Johnsbury , extended family: Brooke Davenport (Steve) of Orleans and their children: Emma, Ava, Harper and many dear friends who will miss her deeply.
She was predeceased by her mother, Margaret Drew, and her father, Edward Danforth and her step-father: Garth Drew
There will be a Celebration of Life for the family and close friends from 5-7 PM, Friday, August 14, 2026, at the Sayles Funeral Home 525 Summer Street in St. Johnsbury.
