Danville, VT: Calvin E. Kittredge, 79, of Walden Hill Road, died at his home in Danville, VT, following a lengthy decline October 3, 2026.

Calvin was born in Danville, VT, on February 15, 1947, son to the late Harold Alfred and Edna Alice (McCosco) Kittredge. He was raised and educated there and worked as a logger all his life owning and operating C&J Logging. He married June (Buick) on October 20, 1973 and have shared almost 53 years. Cal enjoyed spending time with his family -especially the grandkids, going on long drives and sight-seeing, family cookouts, doing firewood with his son, Dana and watching the kids on their toys.

He is survived by his beloved wife: June, his sons: Dana Buick (Tanya) all of Danville, Joe Buick of White River Jct., VT, 2 sisters: Shirley Maynard of Cabot, VT, Floella Toussaint of CT, 5 grandchildren: Alicia John (Thumperlee Marcy) Deanna Santo, Kailynne Buick (Glen Young) Britney Buick, Brandon Buick and many cousins, nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Calvin was also predeceased by his brother: Dwayne Kittredge 2004 (wife: Caroline 2014), Myrtle Bell 2014 (Husband: Wilfred Bell 1997).

There will be no Calling Hours or services at this time.

A special thank you for the following people who have helped to take care of the needs of Calvin go to Dana & Tanya. They are the ones who made sure he was at home where he wanted to be, for taking care of his wife and his property. To his granddaughters, Alicia and Kailynne for his daily needs and being there for him in every step of the long journey over the last 6 years. To Devon John for the laughs and the rides. To Devan, his home health aide, for the care, a person that Calvin cold talk to, for the love that she gives to all her clients and making them feel special. Were it not for these people that took the time out of their lives, we would not have made it this far. Thank you again for everything you have done and continue to do.
