Carmen attended St. Johnsbury Academy, graduating in 1957. She cherished her Academy memories and was active in coordinating class activities. In 1958 she married Burt Repasz, who was stationed at the Air Force Radar Base on East Mountain. The family lived on various military bases before she returned to St. Johnsbury to raise her kids. She later relocated to Nashua and Portsmouth, NH, and Kittery, ME before retiring to St. Johnsbury.
Vermont held a very special place in Carmen’s heart and she enjoyed driving the backroads of the Northeast Kingdom and yard saling. She was very active in her Buddhist community, and frequently donated blood for the Red Cross. She loved her family and friends and was happiest when she was surrounded by loved ones. Carmen loved her backyard birds. During her retirement she volunteered at Norris Cotton Cancer Center and for the St. John’s Church holiday bazaar.
She will be memorialized in the spring when the birds are singing and the flowers are blooming.
