Claude Raymond Gauvin, age 76, of St. Johnsbury, VT passed away on Sunday, November 5, 2023, at Presidential Oaks, known as the New Hampshire Odd Fellows Home, in Concord, NH.

Claude was born in St. Johnsbury on September 10, 1947. He was one of eleven children born to Ernest N. and Veronique (Beauregard) Gauvin. Claude lived most of his life in St. Johnsbury where he was known to walk around town and greet people.  He was an all around good guy; kind, sweet, always happy with a laugh and a smile.  He enjoyed putting together puzzles and coloring, and often collected bottles and took them to the redemption center.

Survivors include three sisters: Celine Adams, Annette Moulton, and Veronica Valley; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.  He was predeceased by his parents and seven siblings, brothers: Paul, Victor, Leo, and an infant, Raymond; and sisters: Linda Gauvin, Pauline Rivers and Theresa Valade.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Thursday, November 16, 2023, 10:00AM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Winter Street, St. Johnsbury, VT.  Burial will follow immediately at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, St. Johns Street, St. Johnsbury.
