Deborah Jean Webber, age 46, of East Haven, VT, passed away peacefully in her sleep, Thursday, June 27, 2019, at her home following a long battle with cancer.

Deb was born in St. Johnsbury, VT, on June 20, 1973, daughter to Janet (Somers) Gilman and the late Reginald Wyman Simpson.  She was raised and educated in E. Haven and has resided there her whole life.   On May 8, 1999, she married Dwight Charles “DC” Webber, Jr., and shared 13 years until his passing on December 26, 2012. They enjoyed traveling and Wells, Maine became a favorite spot they shared year after year.  Deb worked at Passumpsic Savings Bank in St. Johnsbury for many years.  She enjoyed cooking, scrapbooking, and especially the ocean.  She was very adventurous, from swimming with the dolphins to parasailing to sky diving.  Dragonflies held special meaning for her. She also joined the Lyndonville “Boot Camp” making friends and enjoyed the many challenges the group participated in. Deb loved family gatherings and spending time with her family. Her children were her world. She loved them with all her heart.

Deborah is survived by her son and daughter: Levi and Anneliese Webber, her mother: Janet L. Gilman of Lyndon, 3 brothers: Mark Simpson and wife, Meredith, of W. Burke, Jeffrey Simpson and wife, Mary, of Lyndonville, Michael Simpson and wife, Wendy, of Barnet, her in-laws: Dwight Webber, Sr. and wife, Lorrie, of East Haven, her sister-in-law: Carrie-Ann Webber and companion, Kent Derosier, of East Haven, her Best Friend and partner in crime: Janet Simpson of Lyndonville and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 2PM on Friday, July 12, 2019 at the East Haven Cemetery on RT 114 in E. Haven, VT.

There will be no Calling Hours.
