Donald Williams

Donald Thomas “Donnie” Williams, age 76, of Waterford, Vermont passed away on May 7, 2024.

Donnie was born on May 4, 1948, in St. Johnsbury, Vermont to the late Thomas and Jacqueline Williams. He grew up in the Northeast Kingdom and graduated from the St. Johnsbury Trade School in 1967. He was then drafted into the Navy and served in Vietnam for four years. He married Lorraine Mason on June 20, 1975, and had two daughters, Anita and Stefanie. He held his career at EHV Weidmann and retired after 30 years. 

Donnie was an avid outdoorsman. He loved fishing, hunting, camping, and most of all, sharing his knowledge of the outdoors with his daughters and grandchildren. He loved spending time with his family and most of all grandchildren. It gave him so much joy watching them play sports and perform in concerts or theater productions. He was so proud, and loved to capture every moment he could with his camera. It was important for Don to keep up family traditions especially during the holidays whether it be cutting down Christmas trees or carving pumpkins together. 

Donnie is survived by his wife, Lorraine Williams; daughters Anita Williger and Stefanie Williams; brothers Jerry (Sara) Williams and Michael (Evelyn) Williams; nephews Thomas and Jeremy Williams, and niece Michelle Luttmann; and grandchildren Aiden Stillson, Audrey and Ava Williams. He was predeceased by his grandson Brennan Stillson.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
