Doe was born June 2, 1924 in St. Johnsbury to William and Dora Dubuc of St. Johnsbury. She married Ernest Clouatre on September 14, 1940 in St. Johnsbury; Ernest passed away in 1959.
Doralice is survived by her three sons: Richard and Sandra (148 Millstone Dr. Statesville, NC 28625), William and Jean (405 S. Openfield Ct., Lyman, SC 29365), Raymond and Linda (1767 North Danville Rd., Danville, VT 05828); five grandsons: Keith, Jeffrey, Kurt, Scott and Josh; five great grandchildren: Kasandra, Emalee, Laura, Chase and Abigail; a sister Theresa Labor and her husband Percy of Barre; nieces, nephews and cousins.

Doe cleaned houses and took care of children in her younger years. Later she was a housekeeper at NVRH on the second shift for many years.
Doe is remembered for her walking all over town, for making her famous 'whoopies' and chocolate chip cookies, and her meat pies at Christmas time. She loved to play bingo with the folks at the St. Johnsbury House. Every Friday morning she would fold the bulletins at the church and then go for coffee. Doe spent the last three months in North Carolina with Richard and Sandra and was so very happy to be with her family. She truly enjoyed all the cards and letters that she received from her friends and family while she was down south.
On Thursday, July 2nd, friends may call on the family at the Sayles Funeral Home from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Her Mass will be celebrated at St. John the Evangelist Church at 12 Noon. Committal services will follow at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. All are welcome to join the family at the North Danville Baptist Church immediately following the burial.
While in North Carolina Doe became very fond of a little dog named Bitsy from the local humane society. In lieu of flowers please consider sending memorial contributions to Humane Society of Iredell, (hsidogs@yahoo.com), 110 Robinson Rd., Mooresville NC 28117.
