Douglas J. Pierce

Douglas J. Pierce was born November 21, 1948 to the late Betty and Ralph and passed away September 23, 2026.

Doug was born in St. Johnsbury, VT, before moving to Springfield, MA before high school. He enjoyed a full life of family, friends, motorcycles, and snowmobiles, before retiring from Northeastern University. He loved spending time at the family cabin in Vermont, both alone and with friends and family. When asked what he was planning to do when he retired, he always responded “I am spending Spring, Summer and Fall in Vermont! Mowing, puttering around the yard and sitting on my porch, in my rocker, reading!” He loved the peace and quiet of the camp life.

He will be missed.
