Burke Hollow, VT: Gregory Duda, age 71, of Brook Road, died at the Jack Byrne Palliative center in Lebanon, NH, Monday, May 27, 2024, following a long battle with health issues.
Greg was born on September 22, 1952, in Hartford, CT, son to the late Henry Joseph and Genevieve (Holowesko) Duda. He was raised and educated in Windsor, CT, graduating in the Class of 1970 from Windsor High School and attended Hartford Community College. Greg was a truck driver for Iron Mountain for over 30 years in CT. On September 21, 1990, he married Sally Chaffee and they have shared over 33 years together. They moved to Vermont in 2005 and made their home in Burke Hollow. He enjoyed travelling, golfing and spending time with his family, especially the grandkids.
Greg is survived by his beloved wife, Sally; his son, Cameron, both of Burke Hollow; his daughter, Erica Tattersall and her husband, Sean, of Brownsville, PA; his step-father, Richard Gess, of Burke Hollow; his sister, Corinne Aldinger and her husband, Richard, of Newington, CT; his brother, Philip Duda and wife, Debra, of Crestview, FL; 5 grandchildren: Matthew Duda, Owen, Mackynzie, Liam and Averie Tattersall and numerous nieces and nephews.
A private service will be held at the family’s convenience. There will be no calling hours.
