Harold Dresser

November 11, 1939 — December 9, 2018

BUXTON – Harold "Bub" Dresser passed away peacefully at the Barron Center on Dec. 9, 2018, from complications of a bad fall in August. He was born in St. Johnsbury, Vt. on Nov. 11, 1939, the son of Harold and Mary Sutton Dresser, Sr.

He graduated from Danville High School in Vermont. He served in the Vermont National Guard. He worked as a Real Estate Broker and Appraiser for many years retiring to Maine 10 years ago to be closer to his daughters and grandchildren. He also raised and raced Standard bred Horses both in Maine and Vermont.

He was predeceased by his sister Luella and her husband Vernon Webster and by his twin sister Helena and her husband Leonard Carson, and brother-in-law Lloyd Patterson all of Danville, Vt.

He is survived by his wife Nancy Deblois Dresser of 54 years of Buxton; daughters Barbara Dresser of Saco and Joanne and her husband Jeff Myers of Sebago; a sister Pauline Patterson of Danville, Vt.; grandchildren Cameron Myers and Kylie Myers; and several nieces and nephews.

A spring burial will be held in Vermont. Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral Home, 13 Portland Rd., Buxton (Bar Mills) is respectfully handling the arrangements.

A reception will follow the burial on May 9, 2019 at the Lyndon Outing Club for anyone wishing to attend.
