Helen Pride

Helen Mary Pride, 87, of St. Johnsbury, Vermont passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at home. Helen was born August 15, 1935 in Portland, Maine to James and Mary (Desrochers) Pride. Helen dedicated 44 years of service to the State of Vermont, escalating from the lowest rung to one of the top operations positions in the Vermont Department of Labor (formerly VT Department of Employment & Training). She will be remembered by her love of golf, travel, and cats. Helen is survived by her sister, Jane Pride Yates of Ocean City, MD, her nephews James Yates of Plymouth, MA and Joseph Yates of Abingdon, MD, her niece Linda Moreno of St. Johnsbury, VT, her grand nieces Kayla Yates and Mary Moreno, and her grand nephew Andrew Moreno. Services will be at the convenience of family.
