Howard Hill

Howard Hill, 65 of St. Johnsbury, VT passed away peacefully at NVRH in St. Johnsbury on 05/08/2026 with his loving wife Lisa by his side.

Howard grew up in West Roxbury, MA and lived there until moving to New Hampshire in his early twenties. He attended Hesser College graduating with an AS Degree in Electronic Technology and New Hampshire College (SNHU) graduating with a BS Degree in Technical Business. Howard was very proud that he attended college while working full-time utilizing the company’s tuition reimbursement program. He spent the majority of his career in Production Management roles retiring from Adventure Ready Brands in 2024. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time with family and friends, hiking with his dogs, tent camping (typically when raining or cold), snowmobiling, working on his house and enjoying all the outdoor activities the Northeast Kingdom has to offer.

Howard is survived by his wife of 42 years, Lisa (Barry) Hill, his sisters Margaret (Hill) Maider and her partner Barry Rupard of Shrewsbury, MA, Douglas and Jean (Hill) Burkes of Norfolk, MA and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

The Hill family will be forever grateful for the worldclass care and support Howard received at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH and the Norris Cotton Cancer Center in St. Johnsbury, VT.

Howard and Lisa had many dogs over the years that they cherished. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Riverside Animal Rescue, 236 Riverside Ave. Lunenburg, Vermont 05906

A Celebration of Life will be planned for a future date.
