Jim Hastings

          Danville, VT: James Arthur Hastings, age 79, of Hastings Hill Road, passed  July 26, 2023. in Danville, VT, at his home where he was born.  

          Jim was born on October 5, 1943, son to the late Ruben Wallace and Evelyn Luna (Stuart) Hastings. He grew up in Danville and lived there his entire life.  He was a farmer all his days, enjoyed fishing and hunted deer as well on occasion and loved going to the Fryeburg Fair.

          Jim is survived by his special friend: Audrey Brunell and her mother of Northfield, VT, 5 siblings: Wallace “Wally” Hastings and wife, Patricia, of Lyndonville, Gordon “Gordy” Hastings and wife, Cindy, of Danville, Ernest “Ernie” Hastings and wife, Madeline, of Lyndon, Jeanette Bergeron of Keene, NH, Alice McGee and husband, Tom, of Sandown, NH and several cousins, nieces and nephews.  He was pre-deceased by an infant brother: Richard.

          There will be no calling hours. A private graveside service will be held for the family at the Danville Green Cemetery.
