Jean was born on February 4, 1943 in Newark, VT to the late Freeman “Bill” and Marian Magill. Often seen around town in her Red Sox cap, she was known for her pumpkin pie, crocheting & knitting skills, and her beloved dog Prince Harry.

In addition to her parents, Jean was predeceased by her infant brother Richard and her brothers in-law Donald Simpson and Terry Flood.

She leaves behind her son, Thomas D. Gilman; daughter-in-law and friend Peggy Gammell; grandchildren Jacob Freeman (Shara), Owen Thomas, and Olivia Grace (Devin) Gilman; beloved sisters Jane R. Flood and Susan M. Simpson; very special aunts Elizabeth, Lillian, and Lottie; Tom’s dad Duane Gilman; as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
