Jennifer Keithan

Jennifer L. (Bijolle) Keithan, 45, of St. Johnsbury, passed away on May 8, 2025, at the University of Vermont Medical Center.

Jen was born on November 19, 1979, in Berlin, NH to James and Nancy (Lapierre) Bijolle. She lived her whole life in the area and worked for 17 years at Weidmann, working her way up to Senior Accountant. She was very proud of her work and loved working there.

Jen was a person who had a deep care for others and a big heart. She loved helping other people, especially her family, in any way she could. She hosted many holidays and enjoyed cooking meals for her family. She would open her house to anyone. Her kids remember that their friends basically lived at her house after school and on vacations. She opened her home as respite to clients who became like family to her. She did not hesitate to give anyone a second chance because, to Jen, your word was worth everything. She was a skilled crafter and plant enthusiast. She suffered in silence, as many caregivers do, and the extent of her health issues was likely not known to anyone but her. She was taken away from this world too soon, but she will be remembered for her love of people, family, and, of course, Diet Coke!

Jen is survived by her father James (Bob Paris) Bijolle; mother Nancy Bijolle; husband Scott Keithan; children Kayla Keithan, Tyler (Elexus Draper) Keithan, and Hannah (Devin Newland) Keithan; brother Shawn (Doris) Bijolle; grandchildren Carson and Clayton Keithan; in-laws Thomas (Julie) Keithan; sister in-law Heather (Mike) Boivin; aunts and uncles Daniel (Kim) Lapierre, Marilyn (Archie) Fournier, and Jacqueline Couture; nieces Alexis Bijolle, Jillian (Ethan Codling) Bijolle, and Peyton Bijolle; and her beloved dogs Gunner and Dingo. She was predeceased by her grandparents Gaston (Ethel) Lapierre and Joseph (Georgia) Bijolle.

A memorial service will be held for Jen on Thursday, May 22, 2025 at 6pm at Sayles Funeral Home, 525 Summer Street, St. Johnsbury, VT. Friends may call on the family beginning at 5pm.
