Kathleen “Kathy” (Charron) Giacobbe, of Lyndonville, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 9th, 2026 with her family by her side.
Kathy was born on January 25, 1963. She spent most of her life in Lyndonville and graduated from Lyndon Institute with the Class of 1981. Kathy had a deep love for horses, she enjoyed riding, watching horse races, and anything that brought her close to them.
She found great joy in cooking and took pride in preparing home-cooked meals for her family. One of her simple pleasures was enjoying Chinese food, and she had been especially excited about the reopening of the Miss Lyndonville Diner. Above all, Kathy cherished her family. Her greatest happiness came from her grandchildren, and watching them play filled her heart with joy.
Kathy is survived by her mother, Janet Charron of Lyndonville, VT; her two sons, Justin Tang of Quincy, MA, and Nate Charron of New Port Richey, FL; their wives, Jessica Tang and Melanie Charron; and her beloved grandchildren, Lucas Tang, Adrian Tang, Allison Charron, and Olivia Charron. She will always be remembered as a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, and daughter.
Kathy will be remembered at a graveside committal service on June 13, 2026, 2pm at Lyndon Center Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest alongside her aunt, Dorothy "Dot" Dudley, with whom she shared a special mother-daughter bond.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Kathy’s memory may be made to the First Congregational Church of Lyndonville.
