Katie McElroy Pelow

Katie McElroy Pelow, beloved wife, mother, sister, cousin, and friend went to be with the Lord on August 21, 2022, at the age of 37. She had struggled with lupus over the years. She resided in East Brunswick, New Jersey. Katie is survived by her husband Shawn Pelow, her children Davon Camber, Alana and Hayden Pelow. She has left behind an older sister Miranda Robinson (Josh); her twin sister Kendra McElroy; her brother, Jake Garand and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Those who predeceased her included her mother Diane Bradley and her father Mark Garand.

Katie grew up in Peacham, Vermont where she enjoyed spending time outside hiking, enjoying nature and spending time at the farm. She married Shawn Pelow in 2018 and made great memories raising their children and was lucky enough to get the chance to travel cross county with them. Katie was proud to be a wife and stay at home mom to their children. She always talked about her loving family and how lucky she was to stay at home with her three amazing children.

Katie enjoyed being self-employed, shopping, having a good time going bowling with family and friends. She loved pink roses, the beach, and her dog Gunner. All who knew Katie, appreciated her for her love for others, her loving personality and always expressing her true thoughts and opinions. Her love, laughter and sarcasm will be missed by all.

A celebration of life will take place at the St. Johnsbury Moose Lodge at 2388 Portland St., on October 8th from 1 to 3.
