Lawrence Robert Rudd, Sr.

Named after his two grandfathers Lawrence was born at Brightlook Hospital in St. Johnsbury to Frederick and Frances (Gillander) Rudd on July 8, 1950.  He died suddenly at his home in Waterford on April 22^nd.

He graduated from St. Johnsbury Trade school with the class of 1970.  After serving in the US Navy during the Vietnam era he decided driving tractor trailer’s all over the US was what he wanted to do and did so until he retired. 

He is survived by two children: a son Lawrence Rudd Jr. and a daughter Melissa Campbell; His siter Elizabeth (Roderic) Knights and their family; his grandchildren and a cousin.

A graveside service will take place at a later date at the convenience of the family.

Sayles Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
