Linda Mae Bullock, 85, passed away into the presence of her savior Jesus Christ on August 15, 2026, after suffering from a long illness.
Linda was born on February 22, 1941, to Irven and Doris (Corey) Ingalls. She was a mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who loved Jesus. Even when her mind was not clear from her illness, she still loved to listen to the old hymns of the faith.
Linda said she would never marry a farmer until she met George at the previous Whitmore Countryside restaurant in Waterford where she worked as a waitress. At first, they were going to have a small private wedding. Then plans changed quickly, and the night before the wedding they went around inviting all the relatives. Such was the beginning of almost 60 years of marriage, raising four children, and running the Bullock family dairy farm.
Both Linda and George came to faith under the ministry of Rev. Wayne Frazier and became members of Union Baptist Church where she served multiple capacities best known for preparing the Sweetheart Banquet and opening her home for couple’s fellowship dinners.
Inviting other families in for meals and putting on large meals was a staple for Linda. Bullock children were accustomed to someone coming over for dinner with lots of laughter around the dinner table.
Besides working with George on the farm, Linda squeezed in running the Atwood Brothers candy business, chocolate candy business, working part time at USPS, selling her candy at craft fairs, and over 29 years of employment at the Littleton Coin Company, where she retired.
Linda impacted the lives of many people throughout her life, and her imprint will last through her family as they reflect her life and faith. She will be greatly missed, but she is now living her best life in eternity.
Linda was predeceased by her husband, George Bullock of Waterford, VT and parents, Irven Hollis and Doris Mae (Corey) Ingalls of Littleton, NH.
She is survived by her sister-in-law Gloria Bullock of Marshville, NC, children: Clifton and Jane Bullock of Waterford, VT, Clayton and Pamela Bullock of Waterford, VT, Kevin and Sharon Bullock of Colebrook, NH, and Michele and Neil Morris, grandchildren: Kristen and Carlos Salomon, Josiah and Stephanie Bullock, Micah and Miranda Bullock, Samuel Morris, and Elisha Crissman, five great-grandchildren (with one on the way), and multiple cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Graveside service will be held Saturday August 29, 2026, at 1pm at Riverside Cemetery in Waterford, Vermont. Reception following the graveside will be held at Union Baptist Church, 932 Route 5, Waterford, VT. All are welcome to attend both the graveside and reception.
