Lisa Read

Lisa Marie Read, age 56, of Perkins Street, passed peacefully at her home, Wednesday, March 9, 2022, with her family beside her.

Lisa was born in Holyoke, MA, on March 30, 1965. She was raised and educated in Springfield, MA attending Hampshire Educational Collaborative and lived in Springfield until moving with her family 12 years ago. Lisa loved her family of the heart.  She enjoyed holidays and celebrations when they could all be together, loved music, dancing, going on vacations (especially the Adirondacks), cooking, shopping, getting her nails done and doing art & crafts.  LL Bean was a favorite spot as was Yankee Candle. Lisa had a joyful spirit and will be dearly missed.

She is survived by  her guardians: her “Heart Mom” Sheryl Cole of St. Johnsbury, Judith Tazelaar and husband, Jim, of Brookfield, VT, along with their children: Connie & Jamie Tazelaar and Angela Isaac, all of Brookfield, and  Lisa’s “Heart Sister” Kiara Otero of South Royalton, VT.

A Celebration of Life will be held on March 26, 2022, from 1-4pm at Roots to Renewal, 560 Railroad Street in St. Johnsbury.

There will be no Calling Hours.
