Maria L. Jones

Maria L. Jones, 54, of Danville, passed away unexpectedly on June 30, 2026.

Maria was born on February 16, 1972, in St. Johnsbury, to Douglas & Carolyn Jones. She attended St. Johnsbury Academy, graduating with the class of 1990 before beginning work at various places including EHV Weidmann, Littleton Coin, Hitchiner's, and Burke Mountain. She will be remembered for her love of four-wheeling on the Rail Trail, enjoying BBQs with family and friends, and, most of all, her love of her family, especially her granddaughter Jacqueline.

Maria is survived by her mother Carolyn Jones, daughter Natasha Jones & her partner Tyler Smith, and her granddaughter Jacqueline Cochrane. She was predeceased by her father Douglas Jones, and grandparents Wendell & Beatrice Jones.

A celebration of Maria’s life will be held on August 15, 2026, 2-6pm, at the American Legion Post #30, 4854 Memorial Drive, Lyndonville, VT.
