Mark 'Gator' Gallagher

Mark “Gator” Gallagher, 75, of Burke Hollow, died peacefully, in his sleep, on August 16, 2026, at his home.

Gator was born on January 1, 1951, in Philadelphia, son to the late Charles C. Gallagher & Charmain C. (Ewing) Gallagher. He grew up in Media, PA. He married Mary Wewiorski on September 29, 1979, who survives him.

Gator had an adventurous life, traveling the country before settling in Burke Hollow and building his home with lumber he harvested from his property. He enjoyed homesteading, grouse & duck hunting and time at the NEK Skeet and Sporting Clays Club.

He is now with his dearest friend/cohort & business partner Smeds and his beloved yellow lab Gus.

A celebration of life will be held on Oct. 10th, from 1-5pm at the NEK Skeet and Sporting Clays Club, 743 Bugbee Crossing Rd. in Burke Hollow.

Donations in his name may be made to the ASPCA (www.aspca.org) or Ducks Unlimited (www.ducks.org)
