Mary DeBusk

Mary Jane DeBusk, age 87, passed away at the Pines Health and Rehabilitation Center in Lyndonville, VT, Monday February 29, 2016.
Mary Jane was born in El Paso, TX, on September 8, 1928, daughter to the late Willard Ordee Bourland and Blanche Marie (Naumann) Bourland. She was raised and educated in El Paso graduating from Austin High School in the Class of 1945 and later graduated from El Paso School of Business in 1947. She worked at General Motors as an administrative assistant and also at the El Paso Institute of Art of which she was very proud. Much of her working career was with the Civil Service working at the Ft. Bliss Army Base. She excelled at her position working with many of the "Top Brass" that filtered through the base, and she received many awards and citations. Mary Jane raised her family in El Paso and eventually retired to Phoenix, AZ, to be near family and continued to follow along to Vermont in 2007.
She is survived by 4 children: Donna Baiocchi (Edwin Kaiser) of Highland Park, IL, David W. DeBusk of AZ, Debbie Mason-Babasick (Richard Babasick) of Scottsdale, AZ, Marilyn DeBusk of Phoenix, AZ, her brother: David W. Bourland of Ft. Worth, TX, a sister: Frances O. Kuric of WA, 7 grandchildren: Pam, Rhonda, Dave, Andrea, Dylan, Sean, Shane, 6 great-grandchildren and her dear life-long friends: Martha and Carroll Moore of SC.
She was predeceased by a daughter: Sally High Aday.
Services are private. Burial will take place at the Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in El Paso, TX, at the convenience of the family.
Memorial donations may made in Mary Jane's name to the Arizona Animal Welfare League & SPCA, 25 N. 40th St., Phoenix 85034.
