Lyndonville, VT: Richard Charles Letourneau, age 65, of North Prospect Street, passed at his home early Monday morning, August 10, 2026, surrounded by his beloved family, too soon and too young.
Rick was born in St. Johnsbury, VT, on January 13, 1961, son to the late Thomas Charles and Gracia Marcelle (Tetreault) Letourneau. He was raised and educated in Danville, graduating from Danville High School in the Class of 1979. He was a driver for AirGas for over 25 years. As one of eleven children, his first best friends were his brothers: Donnie, Tom, Andy, and Paul. He enjoyed sitting in the sun and sitting on his cabin porches in Newport, Tennessee. Rick’s love of family was always in the forefront of his mind, beginning with siblings, marrying the love of his life, Dorene (nee’ Priest), the wholehearted love for his children, grand and great-grandchildren. He loved spending time picking favorites with his nieces and nephews. The running contest was between Meika and Kirsten, who was really his favorite.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Dorene, of Lyndonville, 6 daughters: Amber Wilson (Bruce Broome) of Concord, VT, Kayla Lamon (Aubrey) of Center, TX, Marissa Chesebrough (Aaron Weaver) of St. Johnsbury, Emily Letourneau of Lyndonville, Miranda Wahl (Brandon) of Barnet, VT, Kelly Sue Allen (T.J. He had a special love for his “adopted” daughter: Sarah Bona, leaves his camping crew “RIDOHEKIMIDO” and his best friend: Doug Miller and also many nieces and nephews with so many others.
He was also predeceased by his sister: Marie Maddox and his brother: Andrew Letourneau.
