Robert 'Bob' Noyes

Wheelock, VT: Robert W. “Bob” Noyes, age 76, of Aldrich Lane, passed away at his home unexpectedly Sunday, August 2, 2026, from a medical event.

Bob was born in St. Johnsbury, VT, on May 12, 1950, son to the late Wilbur Clark Noyes and Maxine (Ward) Noyes. He grew up in St. Johnsbury graduating from the Academy in the Class of 1968 and matriculated to Lyndon State College. He was a car salesman his entire career, spanning 45 years in the business, eventually retiring from Quality Motors. On June 17, 1972, he married Julianne (Dumas) and they shared 54 years together and raised 2 children. Bob was most grateful for time spent with family and especially enjoyed celebrating his children and grandchildren's accomplishments. Bob loved golf, boating, and fishing at Joe’s Pond, where he has a family camp.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Julie of Wheelock, his son, James Noyes and wife, Chrissi, of Bethlehem, NH, his daughter Erin Koeplin and husband, Peter, of Beverly, MA, grandchildren: Lily & Will, step-grandchildren: Jonah & Benji, and mother-in-law Joyce Dumas of St. Johnsbury.

Services will be held at 1PM on Friday, August 7, 2026, at the Sayles Funeral Home, 525 Summer Street in St. Johnsbury. Burial will follow at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in St. Johnsbury.

Friends may call on the family Friday morning from 11AM until 1PM at the hour of service.
