With great sadness to announce the death of Roland A. Hall, 78, On February 7, 2026. He was the youngest son of the late Minot A. Hall and Katherine “Kay” (Hill) on June 11, 1947, in St. Johnsbury, VT, where he was raised and educated attending St. J Academy.
Roland served his country proudly in the US Army stationed in Da Hang, Vietnam from 1966 to 1968 assigned to the 282 Assault Helicopter Co. (The Black Cats) haunting memories lasting a lifetime.
In March 25, 1972, married love of his life Denise (Sylvain) Hall. We were lucky to have celebrated 53 years together.
Roland liked being outside, hunting, fishing in 1995 he brought down a record bull moose 1200 pounds. He was mighty proud of that. He loved riding his Harley Davidson with his best friend, Denise.
Was predeceased by his parents, his brother: Richard M Hall & brother-in-law: Edmond Dube. He is survived by his wife: Denise M Hall, sister-in-law: Cecile Dube of NJ and NY, brother-in-law: Patrick (Rose) Sylvain, Andre (Gertrude) Dussault and many nieces and nephews, with great nephews and nieces all of St. Johnsbury.
Private services will be at a later date.
