In Loving Memory of Rose C Noble

June 24, 1950 – September 30, 2025

Rose Marie Noble, age 75, passed away peacefully on September 30, 2025, surrounded by her loving family, after a courageous journey with dementia. Though the disease may have slowly taken her memories, it never diminished her spirit, her love, or the legacy she leaves behind.

Born on June 24, 1950, in St. Johnsbury to G. Gilbert and M. Jeannette (Giroux) Cormier, Rose lived a life full of love, purpose and quiet strength. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend – always putting family at the heart of everything she did. Whether it was vacationing with her family, enjoying sledding parties, holiday gatherings, biking or simply sitting at the table working through a jigsaw puzzle, Rose’s joy came from the people she loved, and the time spent together.

Rose had a strong work ethic and a generous heart. She began her professional life working at the Fairbanks Museum, became a teller at the Citizen’s Bank, later worked as a Real Estate Agent and administrative assistant and eventually helped manage the family business alongside her husband. No matter the role, she brought dedication, kindness and an unwavering sense of responsibility.

An active member of her community, Rose was especially proud of her involvement with the scouting organizations and youth groups. She led with compassion and patience, inspiring countless young people through her volunteer work. Her leadership and nurturing spirit helped shape young minds into confident, capable adults.

Rose is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Ronald Noble; son Peter “Pete” Noble and his wife Sarah Noble; daughter Jennifer “Jen” Norton and her husband Craig Norton; four grandchildren Kalin & Kiera Noble and Elijah & Lilias Norton, and her brothers and sisters Michael (Suzy) Cormier, Ann (Bernie) Bessette, Flora “Pookie” (Chuck) Roy, and Carmen (Dave) Cormier. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister-in-law Charlene Dixon and brother-in-law Raymond Roy.

Visiting hours celebrating Rose’s life will be held on Sunday, October 12, 2025, from 5-7pm at Sayles Funeral Home and a service is scheduled for Monday, October 13, 2025, at 10am at St John’s the Evangelist in St. Johnsbury, Vermont. Burial will take place at Mt. Calvary Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
