Sandra “Sandy” (Surette) Beaudet

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Sandra “Sandy” (Surette) Beaudet, of Newark, Vermont, on September 13, 2025, at the age of 64.

Sandy was the beloved wife of Glen Beaudet, and known for her kind heart, generous spirit, and deep love for her family, friends, and pets.

She was born on October 20, 1960, and attended school in Lynn, Massachusetts, and relocated to her beloved Vermont several years ago, where she spent her years building a life full of love and connection. Sandy worked as a self-employed exterior and interior house painter and was also employed by A & J Grinding Services of Vermont.

She was a talented artist and illustrator, specializing in animals and nature, with hobbies to include basketry, rug hooking, snowshoeing, fishing, and antiquing. Her most loved moments were those spent with her husband, Glen, at the “Pond House” they built together.

She is survived by her husband, Glen Beaudet; sister, Susan White and her husband Steven; brother, Steven Surette; beloved nieces and nephews and their families, with whom she created so many wonderful memories; also aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws and lifetime friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Corinne and Clifton Surette, and brother, Lee Surette.

In accordance with Sandy’s wishes, no public services will be held.

Sandy will live on in our hearts for her strength, compassion, and the love she so freely gave.
