Theresa Remick

Theresa Anne Remick, 95, of Lyndonville, passed away on January 21, 2026, at The Pines Rehabilitation & Health Center after a long illness.

Theresa was born on September 8, 1930, to Frederick & Julia (Sinon) Maynard in Cabot, VT. She was raised on the family farm in Cabot where Theresa loved tending to the horses. She went to school in Cabot before working as a waitress at Brickets in St. Johnsbury, a store clerk in Montpelier and Stowe, and as a caregiver. She married Carl Remick on August 17, 1984, sharing many happy years together before his passing in 2000.

Theresa is survived by her nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Frederick & Julia Maynard, husband Carl Remick, and siblings Isabelle Montgomery, Doris Houston, Freida Stone, Elizabeth Lackie, Ernest Maynard, Frederick Maynard, Martin Maynard, Kenneth Maynard, Darcy Maynard, and Virginia Decelle.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Saturday, January 31, 2026, 8:30am, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in St. Johnsbury, VT, with Rev. Lance W. Harlow officiating. Burial will take place on Thursday, May 21, 2026, 10am, at Cabot Plains Cemetery, Cabot, VT.
