Travis Fraser

January 5, 1989 — April 7, 2024

Lyndonville, VT: Travis James Fraser, age 35, of Raymond Street, died unexpectedly from an apparent medical event, Sunday, April 7, 2024.

Travis was born in Lowell, MA, on January 5, 1989, son to Donald Robert Fraser and the late Diane Rita (Roucher) Fraser, godson to the late Dorothy (Dottie) Finnigan. He was raised and educated in Lyndonville, graduating in 2007 from Lyndon Institute. He was active in sports growing up and gave back tenfold throughout his life. Known as “Coach Fras” Travis coached “Pop Warner" youth football in Lyndon as well as youth baseball and softball for many years. He loved all past and present players. Leaving it all on the field. He was very involved in the community, and many relied on him for his experience and knowledge in these sports circles. Travis worked with his dad, Bobby, in Fraser & Son Roofing and eventually took over. He was well known throughout the NEK for his work ethic. He had a heart-of-gold, always looking out for everyone else, gave the best hugs and was the best friend-ever!

He is survived by his dad, Bobby Fraser of Lyndonville, his brother: Gordon Fraser of Leicester, NC, 2 sisters: Brittney Fraser (Josh Drummond) of Lyndonville, Ally Fraser of Lyndonville, his close friends, like brothers: Bun Chheoung and Sean Guyer, his Godfather: James Tansey (Janice) of Ashby, MA, aunts & uncles: Denise Rush of Lowell, MA, Donna Greco of Hollywood, FL, Donald Fraser (Jean) of Chelmsford, MA, Maureen Finnigan Atwood of Old Orchard Beach, ME, and his niece and nephew: Adriana & Oliver Drummond whom he loved with his whole heart and would give anything for. Even countless hours on the fields. As well as many cousins and friends who were more like adopted family.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 pm, on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at the VFW on Hill st in Lyndonville. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.

Donations may be made in his name to the Lyndon Youth Football.
