Yvonne “Bonnie” (Crosier) Jacques, 79, of Nashua, NH, passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 following a brief illness. 

She was born April 19, 1944 in St. Johnsbury, VT, daughter of the late John and Mary Aileen  (Deos) Crosier. Bonnie was also predeceased by her husband Dennis E. Jacques, her son; Kevin Jacques, her siblings; Euca Hubbard and her husband Charles Hubbard, Evelyn Jones, John Crosier, Estela Crosier, and William Crosier, as well as two brothers in law; Donald Allaire and Raymond Guyer.

Bonnie was a graduate from Lyndon Institute and held many jobs during her years. She retired from NH State Liquor Commission as the Manager of the Pelham NH store. 

She enjoyed camping at Clearwater Campground and Breezy Meadows. Bonnie had many hobbies throughout her life including; making fleece blankets, ceramics, and baking wedding cakes for friends and family. Every Christmas she would make fudge and Buckeyes and she loved nothing more than passing them along to family and friends.

Bonnie volunteered for the American Red Cross for many years at the blood drives held at the Nashua Elks. She was a member of Nashua Lodge of Elks #720 since 2011, Elk of the Year 2020-2021, received Grand Exalted Ruler's Making a Difference Special Citation 2013-2014, member of Nashua Emblem Club #170 since 1977 and held many offices including President of Nashua Emblem Club (1981-82, 2003-04), NH State Association President (1998-99), and multiple offices for the Supreme Association of Emblem Clubs. Bonnie also enjoyed traveling with her Emblem Club friends on Caribbean cruises and to National Conventions for the Emblem Club....including Alaska and Hawaii. 

Always caring for others, Bonnie helped to support the deployed NH and VT National Guard Units and their families by collecting and sending "goodies" as well as hosting send offs, welcome home gatherings, and Christmas parties for their children. She also enjoyed helping to prepare Thanksgiving meals for the less fortunate with the Hudson Fish & Game. 

Bonnie’s loving family includes her daughter; Aileen Urbach and her husband Liam, her step son; Mark Handy and his wife Cathy, her grandchildren; Bailey Urbach and Connor Urbach, her sisters; Ramonia Allaire and Marilyn Guyer, a brother in law; Merle Jones, as well as many nieces and nephews. 

A time of visitation will be held on Monday, October 23rd from 4:00pm - 5:30pm with Services by the Nashua Lodge of Elks and the Nashua Emblem Club starting at 5:30pm in the Dumont-Sullivan Funeral Home 50 Ferry Street in Hudson, NH. Additional services will be held on Wednesday, October 25th with visitation from 11:30am - 1:00pm and a Service of Remembrance at 1:00pm in the Guibord-Pearsons & Sayles Funeral Homes, 15 Main Street, Lyndonville, Vermont.
